What is Ask Jesus and how does it work?
Ask Jesus is a modern AI system that we have trained by ONLY giving it the full text of the Bible. It has the training of modern AI systems so it can understand when you ask questions about topics that didn't exist in biblical times, but when it goes to anwser your question, it can't search the internet, or read random peoples opinions, it can only look to the bible for inspiration as to how Jesus would have answered your question.

We started to answer this question by explaining how we built this technology, but then decided to just ask and show what our app says for itsself:
What kind of questions can I ask?
You can ask anything, though questions around life, philosophy, daily struggles, encouragements, etc give the best answers. We have asked many a silly question like how to troubleshoot your internet connection or for recipies for a Sunday potluck. Though beware, Ask Jesus becomes troubled and will query about reasons if you try to ask inappropriate questions or try to trick it.
How is this different from reading the Bible or going to church?
Ask Jesus is designed to complement, not replace, traditional spiritual practices. While reading the Bible and attending church are essential parts of Christian life, Ask Jesus provides personalized, conversational guidance that helps you apply biblical principles to your specific modern situations. It's like having a wise mentor available 24/7 to help you navigate daily decisions with biblical wisdom.
Why is Ask Jesus agreeing with subject XYZ, are you trying to lead me astray?!?
In the course of your conversations with Ask Jesus, you may get an answer that doesn't agree with your beliefs or what your church has taught. This is not intentional or any kind of agenda by us. We have been careful to not influence the responses to impose our beliefs of certain passages. That being said, there is much nuance in the scriptures and an AI system such as this should not replace your own beliefs and studies. If you find you disagree, please assume our system was trying to get you the best biblical answer it could!
What if I'm not sure about my faith or new to Christianity?
Ask Jesus is designed to be welcoming to people at all stages of their spiritual journey. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning to Christianity, or have been a believer for years, the app provides gentle, non-judgmental guidance. The responses are designed to meet you where you are and help you grow in your understanding of biblical wisdom.
What denominations does Ask Jesus support?
That is a great question! Ask Jesus was trained on the King James vesion of the Bible, it does not have any knowledge of the different denominations, it simply reads your questions and attempts to as best as possible apply the scripture to your modern question.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time with no questions asked. We want you to use Ask Jesus because it's genuinely helpful to your spiritual journey, not because you feel obligated. If you ever want to return, you can easily reactivate your subscription and pick up where you left off.
